Fitness is an activity to be learnt for life. Students will learn the importance of mind and body fitness, and how to keep healthy and fit for every day learning.

 

How can we keep our bodies fit?

How can we keep our minds fit?

• Be focused
• Reading books
• Listening
• Concentrating

What does our body need to be able to exercise and keep fit?

• A good diet – balanced
• Drink water
• Fruit

This can include a glass of fruit juice, dried fruit, a portion of veg, fresh fruit, vegetable soup, tomato sauce in foods like bolognaise.

Why not have a glass of fruit juice in the morning, have a piece of raw fruit or veg at lunchtime, have dried raisins for snack time, and two different types of veg at tea time. Or you can mix them all up to make really yummy smoothies. Help your mum and dad make up a plan for the day, to eat your daily 5 fruit and veg portions a day, to keep fit and healthy.
